We will have tips on different wedding themes for the next
few weeks so have a look every week for
the theme that suits you the best

Our third wedding theme is Peacock.

Here is a few tips on how to create the perfect Peacock wedding

The peacock symbolizes Beauty, Kindness, and Patience.
Between its various meanings and gorgeous display of colours, it is no wonder that the peacock wedding theme is rapidly gaining status.

The colours of peacock feathers are vibrant shades of blue, gold, bronze, green and other hues. You can pair these colours with a soft lilac, turquoise, black or white.
We took a lilac taffeta table cloth and paired it with a turquoise crushed taffeta and crossed it over with a olive green runner, our aim was to bring in a rustic look  to go with the vibrant colours of peacock feather.

Repeating the colours brings the whole feel and look to the table and centrepiece .

We also had some DIY bottles decorated with sticky tape and coloured rope you can buy it at any craft store

Our accessories that we used to accompany the peacock was rustic and bronze
We bought scented lilac candles to repeat the colour in the centre piece and we used bronze candelabras with bronze underplates to make the colours pop more

When using more that 3 colours is extremely important to balance the colours so that it is pleasing to the eye,you can also pair the peacock colours with silver accessories as well as gold accessories.

Lace

You can use the lace that is on your wedding dress to decorate your wedding invitations and stationery, tie it around the gifts for the guests and use the same lace pattern on your wedding cake
